Chickens

The chickens are still thriving even though we pay absolutely no attention to them.

 They still surprise me with how little they need. The other thing that surprised me about the chickens was how curious they are. Whether it's at a new noise or a bug flying/hopping through their area they go check it out. Smarter than I ever gave them credit for.

The boys are still loving them but the newness has worn off and instead of going to check on them 3 times a day now the chickens are lucky if they make it out once a day.

 Ollie is getting better at catching them and is usually so sweet to them. I have to remind him to be nice and give them hugs and not kick them so hug them is what he does, literally. One of the hens seems to be the runt and is a lot smaller than the rest and she is always the subject of Ollie's frequent huggings.

No eggs yet but they are only 3 months so we still have at least a month until we have production.
