Getting the hang of things

It's been a loooooong day.  So to be short and sweet, here are a few things from today:

  • Landon told Oliver, "You're my favorite Brother" (Good thing Ollie doesn't know he's the only one)
  • Landon told Me, "You're my favorite" I took that to mean favorite Mother. He also told Craig 2 or 3 months ago he was the favorite. I'm sure this will not be the last time he plays us.
  • Landon must have favorites on the brain
  • Landon and I had a picnic for lunch in the front yard under a tree. It was 80, we had to eat outside, 80 in November doesn't exist where we've lived for the past 5 years. As we were eating a breeze blew and made a bunch of acorns fall from the trees, luckily one did not hit us on the head! There was a close call though. Phew! (Oliver was napping by the way)
  • Oliver stood on his own on at least 3 occasions today
  • Oliver's been walking (not gracefully mind you) holding onto only one of our hands for 4 days now.
  • Landon only came out of bed once tonight and that was to use the bathroom, that's a good night for the Grimes' house!
That's really the good stuff. Now to a couple of pictures I've been trying to load onto Snapfish but the website doesn't cooperate with me as of lately so...
About a month ago we went to Country Pumpkins and they have a corn box instead of a sand box. Super fun for the kids!
That's some serious concentration there! Was he counting the number of kernels going into the container?
Taking Oliver for a ride on his big green tractor. Sorry Grandpa Don that it's a green one.
This was when Ollie was first learning to crawl. We have a great sequence of him coming around the corner and in my opinion this was the best!

Hopefully tomorrow I can write about our Halloween fun.
